How to deal with the faults and problems in the use of construction elevators?

Construction hoist is widely used in construction site and is one of the most commonly used mechanical equipment in construction.

How to deal with the faults and problems in the use of construction elevators?

Ⅰ. Method of making of construction hoist foundation

(1) Make construction elevator foundation according to the requirements of Product Specifications. The most maximum load that may be endured should be fully considered in design of foundation.

(2) Drainage measures around the foundation must be set.

Ⅱ. Safety and protection of Construction Lift

(1) Protective railings should be set up in the areas within 2.5 meters around the ground enclosure. The protective shelters with the ability of against falling objects from high altitude should be set up at the upper part of the entrance/exit.

(2) Guardrail and foot guard boards should be installed on both sides of the bridge crossing and transport corridor between the construction elevator and each floor station, and closed by a vertical net. Normally closed safety doors should be installed at the entrance and exit.

(3) The transport corridor or platform of each station should be constructed with 50 mm thick wooden board, and both ends of the board should be fixed.

(4) Set up signs with dynamic and static loads. Strictly prohibit overloading operation.

Ⅲ. Stability of Construction Elevators Mast

(1) When the mast sections are installed, theodolite is used to measure and calibrate the construction elevator in two directions, and the deviation of verticality is less than 5/10,000;

(2) The free height of the top of the mast, the distance between the mast and the building, and the vertical spacing between the tie-ins are set according to the construction hoist manual;

(3) Use special wall attached frame to link the elevator to the building, ensure anchor point strength.
