Construction Hoist Inspection when Maintenance

Read the inspection requests of all the positions of construction hoist according to the position map.

Requirements for inspection of main parts and position, and example pictures are as follows.

Position of Inspection 1: Foundation  

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Ductility Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.  

c

Buffers for the cage and the counterweight (if any) should be installed on the foundation of construction hoist, and make sure the installation position is correct and the function is normal.

d

The ground enclosure is in good condition, and the setting meets the requirements. The foundation has no defects, such as water accumulation, subsidence, cracks affecting the structure, etc.

Position of Inspection 2: Lower Limit Switch Touch Plate 

a

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.

Specification and installation position meet the requirements. 

Position of Inspection 3: Power Distribution Box 

a

Special use distribution boxes must be set up. Distribution boxes should be located near the enclosure for easy operation. It is strictly prohibited that the same distribution box directly controls two or more electrical equipment (including sockets). Be sure that there is not litter in the box.

Distribution boxes should be in good shape, rainproof and leak proof measures are in good condition, and there are dangerous signs. The grounding of the boxes is in good condition.

Electrical component specifications meet the requirements, and the components work normally, be sensitive and with reliable action. Grounding wire installation meets the requirements.

Power supply cables should apply five-core cables. The wiring and installation of all cables and wires shall prevent mechanical damage, and the part of cables fixing on mast sections should be well protected and insulated.

Position of Inspection 4 & 9: Cable trolley 

a

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.

Roller clearance meets the requirements and is structural complete, the rotation is flexible.

The pulley should be rotated and lubricated well, and the following defects should not occur: (1) cracks; (2) pulley edges damage; (3) excessive wear of rope groove wall thickness, up to 20% of the original wall thickness; (4) excessive wear of pulley groove bottom. 

Position of Inspection 5 & 10: Cage 

a

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.

The cage should be equipped with permanent lighting. The lighting and buzzer should work properly.  

d

The model specifications of the anti-falling safety device should match with that of construction elevator, works properly, safely and reliably, and be within the valid period.

e

The cage should be equipped with an effective anti-derailment protection device.

Limit Switch, Emergency Limit Switch, Releasing Rope Switch installation position and setting should meet the requirements, and work properly, be sensitive and reliable.

Overload protection device is sensitive and reliable. 

h

The components in the electrical control cabinet are complete and reliable, and the specification meets the requirements. The wiring is neat.

Short-circuit protection, overload protection, phase-breaking and phase-staggering protection work properly, sensitively and reliably.

The console appearance is intact, the joystick and emergency stop switch are sensitive and reliable. 

Position of Inspection 6 & 11: Drive device

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.

The motors and reducers work properly without oil leakage or abnormal noise. 

d

The brakes work sensitively and reliably, and should not have the following defects: (1) visible cracks: (2) brake disc wear reaches 50% of the original thickness; (3) unevenness of brake wheel surface reaches 1.5mm; (4) plastic deformation of brake spring reaches more than 10% of its working deformation; (5) component missing; (6) oil leakage at brake assistor; (7) oil leakage at hydraulic brake.

Roller clearance meets the requirements and is structural complete, the rotation is flexible. 

f

The mast sections are well lubricated, and the driving pinions mesh the racks properly. 

g

The rack connection on the mast should be firm and solid, the gap and displacement deviation between the two adjacent racks should meet the requirements. The racks should mesh the pinions with their full width.

h

Counterweights, if any, should equipped with effective anti-derailment protective devices. 

Position of Inspection 7: Upper Limit Switch Touch Plate 

a

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements.

Specification and installation position meet the requirements.

Position of Inspection 8: Tie-in (Anchor) 

a

There is not Visible Crack, Welding Defect, Plastic Deformation, Serious Corrosion, Over wear, etc. in the steel structure.

In the connecting parts, there is not missing part, loosening, visible crack, serious wear and tear. The size and angle of the split pin meet the requirements. 

c

The tie-ins shall be installed horizontally. The included angle of its plane and horizontal plane shall not be more than ±8°. 

d

There is no gap and slip between the embedded slab and the wall.
