Hoist Safety - Limit Switches
Hoist limit switches - There are limit switch touch plates on the top and bottom of the mast. When they hit the limit switches on the cage, the cage will stop automatically.
Hoist emergency limit switch - Once the cage exceed the position in case of fault of upper and lower limit switches, the three-phase emergency limit switch will touch the emergency touch plate on the mast and cut off of power supply.

What is Construction Elevator Drive Device (Drive System)
The drive device is mainly composed of the drive frame, two or three motors, electromagnetic brake, elastic coupling, worm reducer or cylindrical gear reducer, and drive pinion. It connects to top of cage rigidly or elastically. The drive pinion is fixed to the output shaft of reducer by the spline, and is aligned and meshed with the racks on mast.
How does the Construction Lifts Drive Device work?
Driven by the motors, the pinions drive the Drive Device on the racks to bring the cage and its load to go up and down or stop along the mast.
